HONGSHU AUDIO EH-1 V4 + EHA-1 is a complete open-back electrostatic headphone system. Rather than leaving the headphone, bias standard, and amplifier as separate matching decisions, it brings them together as one focused desktop listening system.

A 4-inch electrostatic driver at the centre

The EH-1 uses a 4-inch circular full-range electrostatic driver in a fully open-back design. Its extremely light diaphragm is engineered to present detail, transients, and spatial information with ease, while the open construction gives the presentation room to breathe.

A complete electrostatic system

The supplied EHA-1 is the dedicated electrostatic amplifier for the EH-1. Built around the standard 580V Pro Bias format, it provides Bass Boost and left/right balance adjustment, so the system can be fine-tuned for the recording, source chain, and your listening preference. The included amplifier gives first-time electrostatic listeners a clear path into the format without beginning with a complicated compatibility search.

Important use notes

  • The EH-1 is open-back. It does not isolate outside sound and will leak sound into the room.
  • Do not connect the EH-1 directly to a standard 3.5mm, 4.4mm, or XLR headphone output.
  • Use the included EHA-1 or a confirmed-compatible 580V Pro Bias electrostatic amplifier, following the equipment instructions for connection and power-down.
