HONGSHU AUDIO creates high-end electrostatic headphones, electrostatic headphone amplifiers, and future electrostatic speaker systems with a foundation in in-house driver craft.

Founded in Shanghai in 2019, HONGSHU AUDIO is a high-end audio brand dedicated to the development and manufacturing of electrostatic headphones, amplifiers, and loudspeaker systems.
Built by headphone enthusiasts and engineers with expertise in materials, electronics, acoustic design, and product development, the team has years of experience in high-end headphone R&D and production.
Over four years, HONGSHU AUDIO established its own electrostatic driver supply chain and production system. Through rigorous engineering, precision manufacturing, and continuous innovation, the brand creates electrostatic audio products with high resolution, low distortion, excellent transient response, and broad musical compatibility.
Because electrostatic drivers lack a mature ready-made supply chain, we spent four years building our own electrostatic driver supply chain and production line from the ground up.
Through continuous work in materials, diaphragm treatment, driver structure, assembly, testing, and quality control, we have developed a manufacturing system designed for modern high-end audio standards.
Laser Quality Control
We use LiDAR surface mapping with 0.1 μm scan precision to measure the stator plates in our electrostatic headphones. This non-contact 3D process identifies minute warping and local surface variation, helping us control flatness to the 10 μm range.
By improving the geometric consistency of each stator, we create a more uniform electric field and more controlled diaphragm movement. The result is lower distortion, better channel consistency, and a cleaner, more precise sound.
We focus not on stacking isolated specifications, but on the complete loop between structural precision and sonic performance. Every stator is confirmed through LiDAR mapping before it enters the acoustic system, ensuring a physical foundation that is stable, controllable, and close to its intended ideal state.
